Skating Rules

Skate at your own risk. By skating, you accept the inherent risks of the activity. Citizens Alley is not responsible for injuries on or off the ice.

NO STICKS OR PUCKS!

We know you want to... there are no nets, no one wants you to be responsible for breaking a window or someone's nose!

Children Under the Age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Be in control. Maintain safe speed and distance. Skating dangerously or disrupting others may result in removal from the rink.

No carrying children while wearing skates.

Only skate in designated areas. Don’t walk on non-matted surfaces unless you are wearing skate guards.

No skating during resurfacing. Stay off the ice when the rink is being cleaned or maintained.

No sitting or leaning on dasher boards.

Pusher bars are for beginner use only — please don’t misuse or play with them.
Prohibited Items
For the safety of all guests, the following are prohibited on the ice:

Street shoes

Food, drinks, or chewing gum

Cell phones, headphones, and other electronic devices

Pets
-
Hockey sticks and pucks (Exception: mite-age or younger during scheduled events coordinated with Minot Hockey Boosters)

ICE BUMPER CARS
HOW IT WORKS
Rules
Ages 6+ must ride solo. Ages 2-5 may ride with an adult; seatbelts must secure all riders. Ice Bumper Cars have a total weight limit of 300 lbs. Must keep hands, legs, and feet inside the car at all times. All riders must sign a waiver. Plan to arrive 15 minutes before your booking session.
Cost
Each Ice Bumper Car ride is $12 for a twelve (12) minute ride.
Ice Bumper Car Schedule
Ice Bumper cars will not be available everyday, but will generally be running on the weekends!
BOOKING WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL THE WEEK OF!
We're doing this for a few reasons, the main one being IT'S COLD! Our rink is not heated and mother nature has free reign around here, so we need to make sure temps aren't dangerous for riders or for equipment.

Weather is unpredictable, we know, but there will be a better chance of avoiding cancellations/rescheduling if we wait to open up booking until the week of, so we can see more accurate forecasts.

FIRE PITS
WARM UP + CHILL OUT
There’s nothing quite like winter nights under the stars. When the concessions trailer is open, you’ll often find our firepit glowing, adding a little warmth and a whole lot of atmosphere.
Bundle up and enjoy time with friends and family by the fire. We’re continuing to explore ways to make this cozy corner even better throughout the season, so stay tuned for occasional firepit evenings and special pop-ups.

COMPETITION BRINGS US TOGETHER
You'll walk around Citizens Alley and probably see a plethora of things to do, including plenty of games to be played. We believe that we come together when we play together. Wether it's cornhole, checkers, Connect 4, or something you make up on your own, the power of competition is alive and well in Citizens Alley.
